See HER WOJESTY up close! The magnificent Amy Wadge hits The Madhouse with songs from her new album BUMP and no doubt some old favourites for us to enjoy. Amy thinks The Madhouse is brilliant! We KNOW that she is! So don’t miss this gig and don’t miss the opportunity to see real talent up close. Next time she might be a dot on the horizon at The NEC!! Amy’s played The Royal Albert Hall and now she’s moving up to THE MADHOUSE!!!
Amy began performing at Open Mic sessions in Cardiff's Toucan Club. She soon started developing a fan base and quickly gained critical recognition. She was spotted by some of the city’s big players, among them, Manics/Catatonia/Super Furry Animals producer, Greg Haver, who recorded her debut mini-album, The Famous Hour. That ended up on the desk of the people launching 'BBC 6Music'. They loved it and immediately asked Amy to perform at their launch night. Also on the bill that night were The Stereophonics, Embrace, Pete Yorn and Lenny Kravitz.

Picked up guitar after hearing Ry Cooders slide playing and writing songs after reading Dylans reason for doing the same, " I started writing because nobody was saying what i wanted to say". Played in a band called MAGIC DOG for a few years having the time of my life with the best people i've ever met. As well as playing in the band i managed to keep the solo work going playing radio shows and supporting Kathryn Williams, Carus(a touring partner and friend of Jack Johnson), Amy Wadge and Clay Hill(a band featured on films by Shane Meadows, Dead Mans Soes, A Room For Romeo Brass, This Is England). In 2004 "PERFECT" was feautered in a programme documenting the history on Welsh & Irish football. There's an EP out soon. "DIDN'T KILL ANYBODY, ONLY SHOT HIM TWICE. HIM DYING WAS BETWEEN HIM AN THE LORD" RL Burnside. RIP.

Vinny is possibly better known for arts/musical collaborations [with Bill Drummond, The Smiths, Bonehead]. Vinny has toured with the likes of, Edwyn Collins, British Sea Power, Soundtrack of Our Lives and Durutti Column. A regular Glastonbury compere he was christened ’the Tony Hancock of Pop’ by UNCUT MAGAZINE. Edinburgh Festival Live Review With his flat cap, florid blouse and fidgety nervous energy pitched somewhere between Andy Warhol and Jarvis Cocker, there’s an anarchic elegance to Vinny Peculiar which is both at once both thrilling and faintly unsettling. The Manchester troubadour is a veteran from the city’s anti-folk circuit specialising in glam-tinged kitchen sink vignettes. Storming through a set of oblique, tortured punk poetry, he wins over an initially skeptical crowd with his animated delivery and taut, frenetic pop hooks. Channeling all that eccentricity and barbed wit into something strangely compelling Vinny Peculiar is the sort of unlikely, heroic pop star they just don’t seem to make anymore. MOST of the albums are available from itunes.
